CASE STUDY
Entrain Space

Entrain Space, based in Wiltshire, support the transition for military personnel to civilian life.

 

The team at Entrain Space regularly have VIP visitors and they wanted to make sure the images they take for their social media and their newsletter was the best it can be with their phone camera. Before the training the team would take a photo of a visitor right next to the sign on the building. The sign is big and quite high up.

THE TRAINING

  • Learning the different setting on the phone to get the best results for their needs

  • Understanding how to use perspective, the branding on the side of their building is very high, how to use it and keep the image balanced – give them go to settings that consistently deliver images they can use

  • Where to take branded photos inside when the weather is inclement

  • How to add simple branding to an image to highlight key stories

  • How to take branded images when attending other events

  • Looking out for distracting things in the background of images

THE OUTCOME

Literally the following day, after training, the team were using their new skills to take far better images and they were being used for their social media as well as their newsletter.


Even though the team have changed, the new team members can access the Photography Guidelines from the training day and put the information given into action.
