ABOUT BARBARA LEATHAM

I’ve been taking photos since I was 11 years old, I studied graphic design and photography at college before joining the Royal Air Force in 2002 where I trained to be a photographer for military needs.
In 2007, after leaving the RAF, I started my business Barbara Leatham Photography.
In 2010 I reinforced my love of photography and gained a master’s degree in Photographic Studies – focusing on the narrative of images.
Although I occasionally do family work, I have always specialised in commercial and brand photography; working with businesses for their brand, marketing and PR needs.
My background and experience mean that I bring a unique blend of strong technical and creative skills to my shoots along with a visual awareness that ensures the images created are on brand and portray the appropriate message for my clients, regardless of their business sector.
I have been teaching photography for over 15 years, and it is my experience and skills that I want to pass on to businesses and sole traders to improve their own photography.
When I’m not taking photographs, I love being with family and friends, drinking tea (and sometimes wine or G&T), listening to audio books or music, going to concerts, going out walking our dog, visiting National Trust gardens and learning new things.
I’m based in Wiltshire and work UK wide
